Mariateresa Camerino

Mariateresa Camerino, PhD, DVM, resident ECVIM (Oncology), graduated from University of Bari (Italy) in 2014. She completed a rotating internship in small animals in 2015 at Veterinary Institute of Novara (Italy) and then she moved to UK where she did a specialistic internship in Oncology at the Animal Health Trust (UK, Suffolk) and worked as general practitioner until 2018. In 2022 Dr. Camerino became PhD holder with a doctorate focusing on melanoma immunotherapy at University of Turin. In 2022 she moved to Switzerland where she started a residency program in medical oncology at Animal Oncology Imaging Center.

Dr. Camerino enjoys all aspect of small animal oncology and finds very rewarding to help her patients continue to have happy and healthy lives whilst undergoing cancer treatment. Outside work, Mariateresa enjoys paddle boarding on the lake, exploring mountains, watching K-drama and caring for her four cats.
