Born in Hradec Králové. Graduated from the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Brno. After a short post-graduate study at Radiology, VFU, 6 months of training at Kleintiermedizin, Tierspital Zürich, Switzerland. Residences in Small Animal Internal Medicine in Zurich and University of Georgia, USA (Dipl. ECVIM-CA). Since 2002 in private practice in Switzerland. Since 2016 owner of Kamil Tomsa Kleintiermedizin, offering consilient services in small animal internal medicine and ultrasound diagnostics, including cardiology and endoscopy.
