Bill Saxon
Dr. Saxon, DVM, DACVIM, DACVECC, received his DVM from Iowa State University in 1986. He completed an internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York followed by a residency at the Animal Medical Center and the University of Pennsylvania and is board certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and the American College of Veterinary Emergency Medicine and Critical Care. He practiced in the San Francisco area and also owned a critical care clinic in Washington. He has published on burns, acute abdomen, feline cardiomyopathy, drug toxicity and co-authored the Handbook of Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care. He has worked for IDEXX since 1997 as an internal medicine consultant, field specialist and speaker at regional, national and international conferences.
